exactEarth Announces Two-Year $1.45 Million Commercial Customer Renewal

Multi-year agreement renewed at significantly higher pricing

CAMBRIDGE, ON, May 8, 2017 /CNW/ - exactEarth Ltd. (“exactEarth” or the “Company”) (TSX: XCT), a leading provider of Satellite AIS data services, announces a two-year renewal agreement (the “Agreement”) valued at a total of $1.45 million to provide vessel tracking data services to a major international commercial customer. The Agreement is valued at a significant annual price increase as compared to the previous multi-year contract. The Agreement also contains options to extend the relationship for an additional three years which, if executed in full, would bring the five-year total value to $4.5 million. Service under the Agreement commenced in second quarter of the Company’s fiscal 2017. All dollar amounts are in Canadian dollars. 

exactEarth Provides Update on EV5 Satellite

CAMBRIDGE, ON, April 6, 2017 /CNW/ - exactEarth Ltd. (the “Company”) (TSX: XCT), a leading provider of Satellite AIS data services, announces an update on recent developments with its EV5 satellite. On February 3, 2017, communication was lost with the satellite and subsequent efforts to make contact were not successful. As a result, the Company filed a claim for the full insured value of the satellite, amounting to $3.5 million CAD, which has now been approved and paid to the Company.

exactEarth Announces Successful Initial Launch for its Second Generation Real-Time Constellation

CAMBRIDGE, ON, Jan 16, 2017 /CNW/ - exactEarth Ltd. (TSX: XCT), the leading provider of Satellite AIS data services, announced the successful launch of four hosted payloads for its next generation constellation, exactView™ RT powered by Harris. Launched aboard an Iridium NEXT satellite on SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, these hosted maritime payloads are now being commissioned and are expected to be brought into service within the next four months. The exactView RT system is the result of the agreement signed with Harris Corporation in June 2015 under which Harris deploys and operates the hosted payloads and exactEarth performs the ground-based data processing and has exclusive distribution rights for the data for all markets except the US Government.

exactEarth Awarded Project with UK Space Agency

HARWELL, OXON, Dec. 22, 2016 /CNW/ - exactEarth Europe Limited, a UK subsidiary of exactEarth Ltd (TSX: XCT), the leading provider of Satellite AIS data services, has been awarded a £1.1 million grant from the UK Space Agency (UKSA) under its 'International Partnerships Programme' (IPP). The IPP funding will support the operational deployment of exactEarth's Satellite AIS-based small vessel tracking technology "exactTrax" to improve safety of life at sea (SOLAS) for South Africa's small boat owners and operators – in particular the artisanal fishing sector. As such exactEarth Europe will be working closely on the project with the 'South African Maritime Safety Authority' (SAMSA) and South Africa's 'National Sea Rescue Institute' (NSRI).
