exactEarth Reports Q2 2016 Financial Results

UCL Energy Institute in the UK set out to create an interactive map experience (www.shipmap.org) showing vessel movement data from exactEarth, cross-checking the information with other databases to look at vessel characteristics such as engine type and hull measurements. This allowed the team to compute the CO2 emissions for each observed hour, following the approach taken in the Third IMO Greenhouse Gas Study in 2014. 

exactEarth Announces Partnership to Expand into Chinese Market

exactEarth Awarded Canadian Government AIS Maritime Data Services Contract

CAMBRIDGE, ON, May 5, 2016 /CNW/ - exactEarth Ltd. (TSX: XCT) ("the Company") announces that it has won a competitive procurement process for a contract (the "Contract") with the Government of Canada ("GoC") for the provision of AIS maritime data services. The initial length of the Contract covers the period to March 31, 2017, with two one-year options, which, if exercised by the GoC, extends the term to almost three years.
